1. Aim of the course

Welcome to the course.

The overall aim of the course is to provide information and support for family carers looking after, or preparing to look after a person with later stage dementia.

We hope that over the next number of weeks you will engage with the course materials and share with us your experiences in providing care for your family member with dementia.

This course will cover some very difficult, emotional and sensitive topics. We as course organisers are highly aware of this issue. And we have tried to present the materials to you in an interesting, informative and honest way. 

Your participation, engagement and feedback to us about your experience on the course will be important. And we will provide more information on this later in the course.
